Use this list of helpful questions to get your thoughts organized about your shrink sleeve label project.

- Keep your answers for reference when placing your future label order with Gilbreth.

1. What quantity will you need to order and when will you need the final product?
   

   Turnaround times vary according to each order. Please contact us early in your product development to set up a schedule that will work for your deadline.

2. Are you able to send us a sample or two of the container?
   

   We will size the container for you in order to achieve absolute accuracy. A grid sleeve can then be put on and sent back to you. After we measure and shrink a grid sample on your container, our Art Department can create a template for your art to be placed on to it. This is to ensure accuracy for the size & placement of your art.

3. What kind of container do you need a label for?
   (plastic or glass bottle, jar, box)
4. Is your product a “hard to cover” item? Does it have a very unique shape?
   

   (i.e. baseball bat, dust pan, sports ball, children’s toy, etc) This may determine the kind of film that should be used. Each shrink film has its own shrink ratio.

5. Does your container require a lot of shrink or a minimal amount?
   

   This could determine what type of film you should use (PVC, PETG, OPS, PLA).

6. Are you looking to fully cover your product with a sleeve or just around the seal of your container?
   

   This helps determine what kind of sleeve you will need. OR you can incorporate a Tamper Evident band right into a full sleeve label.

7. How will you be applying your sleeves? Hand held heat gun or automatic equipment?
   

   We can help you in this decision. Our experts are very knowledgeable and can guide you to the best choice that fits your needs.

8. Do you think your label will need a perforation (a perf or tear-tab allowing easier removal)?
   

   Vertical, Horizontal or Both? Single or Double?

9. Are you sealing more than one product together?
   

   Referred to as promotional or multi/combo pack sleeves. These can be printed or non-printed.

10. Will you supply a digital label art file or do you need Gilbreth to design it for you?
    

    Gilbreth can work with customer supplied files or handle the design from concept to completed label. We will even assist in the application start-up for your label. Contact our Art Department at graphicshelp@gilbrethusa.com and we will be glad to help.
