Wire Shrink Wrap

Wire Shrink Wrap is useful for a variety of applications

Wire shrink wrap is a seamless shrink sleeve with applications that go beyond product labeling. Heat shrink wire wrap is available in two colors, which allow for increased customization options for use in color coding, grouping, and labeling wires or cables. Heat shrink wire labels are most often used for medical devices, construction, trucks, boats, and other vehicles.

What are Wire Shrink Wraps?

Wire shrink wraps are made differently than standard shrink sleeves. Heat shrink wire wrap is blow-extruded in a seamless tube. The result is a shrink sleeve without the seam, making it ideal for a multitude of purposes requiring seamless shrink wrapping. Furthermore, wire shrink tubing is available in many different materials, including PVC, PET, PLA and OPS heat shrink films, so you can get the right wire shrink wrap for the job.

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is the traditional shrink film that has been around for a number of years, making it predictable and cost-effective. Inexpensive and easy to use, heat shrink tubing shrinks up to 62%.

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is an eco friendly label option with high clarity. Recyclable and chemical resistant, PET shrinks up to 75%.

EarthFirst® Ingeo® PLA (Poly Lactic Acid) is a fully biodegradable shrink film, made from a corn based biopolymer. It is the most eco friendly heat shrink tube and a great way for your company to meet your sustainability goals.

OPC (Oriented Polystyrene) shrinks up to 70%. It is another eco friendly option with broad acceptance in Europe and Japan.
